Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was found dead Monday, May 24 in a suburban Iowa hotel room. Gray is now 38 years old. According to the examiner, the preliminary reports from the scene indicates a drug overdose as the cause of death.
Drugs are a possibility as Grey did have a 2003 arrest connected to drugs, however sources close to the band are insisting that Grey was not a drug addict. While no evidence of drugs or drug paraphernalia was mentioned as being present in his hotel room, it is a slim possibility. So, an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. Toxicology tests will be done to know what really is the caused of death of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray.
